Vuokatti Campus

Vuokatti Campus gathers the education in sports and travel & tourism in Snowpolis into one entity, which means that a student can study all the way from High-School and University level up to a Ph.D. level at Snowpolis.

On the Vuokatti Campus educational path a student can for instance continue after an IB-Diploma (International Baccalaureate) from the local High School  in Sotkamo to a secondary degree in sports and after that continue to the university and even to a Ph.D. Degree at Snowpolis.

Vuokatti Campus is a joint venture of the University of Jyväskylä, the Vocational College of Kainuu, Kajaani Polytechnic, the University Center of Kajaani, Snowpolis, the IB- and High School of Sotkamo and the Vuokatti Sports Institute.

The cooperation and cross-scientific approach between the different educational departments and other Snowpolis-related institutions guarantee that Vuokatti Campus knows and is very well aware of what the others are doing in terms of education and research. Sport and travel & tourism are one common denominator at Vuokatti Campus, but this does not meant that the education is only limited to these two areas.
